Warung Ume Anyar in Sidemen

Som tam (Thai salad with green papaya, mango and citrus juice) is incredible delicious. Fried rice with veggies and chicken is great. Portion for curry with veggies and chicken is big but the gravy has strong coconut milk which we don't quite like it.

Place to be in Sidemen, spectacular view and delicious food, we highly recommend the spring rolls with a very nice dip with ginger among other things, best we had in 3 weeks of Indonesia. Cheap for what you get, fresh products & very well prepared.

Amazing views, you cannot miss this place. Big portions, well prepared and looking very nice as well. Friendly staff, cheap prices and an great view over the rice fields (make sure to go up). The food tasted really good and fresh. If you are in for a local experience, this is definitely one of my favorite warungs I have eaten at.

One of the best restaurants we've been in Bali so far. Wayan and his family are running this Warung alone and the food is delicious. Everything is prepared freshly. Definitely try the Dadar Gulong. They even helped us to organize the next transport.

What a wonderfull place with an excelent view (upstairs, you will be suprised as this is unexpect this from the outside). But best is the delicious freshly prepared food which is worth waiting for. We have been here many times and can’t waite to go back

The food is incredibly good! Unfortunately the place was under renovation when we came, that is why it doesn't deserve a 5-star review. Service was OK considering we were the only 2 customers at the time, but things may slow down if the place is crowded. This is another point that could lower the overall grade of the experience.

Fantastic view overlooking Sidemen, its about 10 minute drive from most of the hotels and busy area but worth the drive. The meals we had were first class and the owner/chef is very friendly and takes great pride in his cooking and is very happy to explain everything in great detail. The restaurant is upstairs and the tables and chairs are very basic so dont expect anything fancy. We've come back twice and will return next time in Sidemen.

We had a great lunch here. Delicious papaya salad. The best thing is the amazing view of the Sidemen rice terraces.

Amazing food and big portions for cheap prices!

Definitely a place worth visiting! The owner is very welcoming and kind. Apart from being a wonderful host, he is also a fantastic cook! Especially the chicken curry and the sweet and sour chicken are very tasty and I would recommend these dishes... To conclude, very tasty dishes for a low price and a nice atmosphere :)

The easiest five starts I've ever given to a place. The view to over the rice paddies and Mount Agung is incredible and the Thai salads (som tum and yam makwa) were heavenly! The chef is a amazing and makes everything from scratch, with fresh ingredients. I hope I get to go back one day.

would have given a 5 star if the service wasn't slow. waited 40 minutes for food during a busy period.please order the som tam. its one of the best in Bali. and the mie goreng is classic indonesian mie goreng. reminded me of the mie goreng I had in the 90sthe view was also stunning

We came here quite late at night and we were out of IDR, only got USD. They were very night when accepted us to pay in USD. So hospitable <3

View is great. Indonesian food, was ok but could be cooked more interesting. Prices have been low. We had to wait 40 minutes for a curry with rice while almost no guests have been there. Would recommend it for a drink and enjoy the view.

The food was not expensive at all but so tasty! Also, the roads to get there are incredible, totally worth an afternoon drive. Don't forget to try the roasted peanuts as they are delicious! Best view of the area also.

The food, the view, the portion, the price, the staff , even the wifi! Everything was absolutely amazing! We loved our 40 mins walk to the resto amongst rice fields and had the best meal and some free snacks too! Highly recommended 💗💗

The Warung Uma Anyar is the perfect spot for a lunch, diner or drink in the middle of the ricesfields in Sideman. You can reach it easily by foot, if you like to walk (there is some elevation) by daylight. When you have arrived, take a rest, enjoy the excellent cooking of mr. Wayan and the beautiful views. We have been eating here six days in a row and we loved every lunch and diner mr Wayan served. The cooking is Balinees/Indonesian and some Thai. Prices are far too low for the quality of the food and view and the owner mr. Wayan is a model of a hard working honest man. He speaks English very well and runs also a small shop next to his warung.We have been eating here again (January 2018), stil everything is ..delicious!

My sister and I are vegetarians, and have had the same meal - gado gado and veggie curry in three different warungs here in the village. This was by far the best!

Good food, nice view and friendly staff! The view from the top terrace is just amazing... Prices are cheap (50k for a big plate of glass noodles + lemon juice), food was good and the portion was big. I would strongly recommend this place.

Went here as it was close to where we were staying. It's a small warung above a shop, super simple. We didn't have any expectations going in, but wow, the food was excellent! We had the chicken curry and a sweet & sour dish. Both were so fresh, so tasty. The owners are so lovely. It's also completely family run - mum, dad, son and daughters cooking and serving. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Amazing view, delicious food and friendly staff! We got to sideman pretty late but we were staying close to the restaurant. The staff went out of their way to take us back to our accommodation so we didn't have to walk in the dark.

A-m-a-z-i-n-g food!! Awesome the owner, the view and the quality of everything.Me and my wife we got astonished. We discovered it for case driving around, tried it for lunch and back for dinner because wow!

We had such a great dinner - perfect view as the day closed - also had Arak drink with lemon and honey - like the best margarita . Host was so nice - food was delish- a great authentic local evening in Sideman overlooking beautiful rice and vegetable terraces. Also a cute white kitty :)

Best restaurant we had so far in Bali! A little lost, really local. The owner showed us the plant growing around he was using for the soup broth!

Very nice Warung. The people are lovely and the place is great. Some construction going on (July 2019) to improve it even more. Food was delicious and the great views across rice terrasses is also amazing. If you are around you should go there. Spring Rolls are the best!!!

Very very nice warung. With very good food and an amazing view. We highly recommend this warung whenever you are in Sidemen.The owners are very nice.... so definatly a place to go when you have the chance.

A table with a view! We where just hiking around and in the corner of the road was a little shop with hidden restaurant. Besides the typical Indonesian stuff we found also some Thai dishes. Som Tam was not spicy but very fresh and tasty.

It is a vera nice warung with a wonderfull view over ricefields and mount agung.And the food is amazing, the nice chef cooks also thai food. If you are not staying in sideman, it is also worth a stop on the way,😁

Lovely warung situated right in the middle of rice fields. Amazing views. I had vegetarian curry as wanted something different to what I've been eating for a month in Bali and it was really tasty. The wait for the food to arrive was a bit long. Good portion! Prices were a bit higher for us as we usually pay 10-20k for a meal in warungs.

Just had lunch here and it was the best food I have eaten in a long time. The papaya salad was sensational and spring rolls delicious. If you come to Sideman you must visit this magic restaurant with great food.. Views.. And a friendly host.
